Movement between Mainland China, Hong Kong and the wider world rarely follows a straight line. A business that makes sense in Shenzhen may need a different shape in Hong Kong; a family relocating for one member's work has to think about everyone else at the same time.

Basio was founded to advise clients through exactly these situations — with people who work across the corridor every day, in both language and practice. We keep our mandate deliberately narrow: we advise, and we stay independent of the regulated services our clients sometimes need.
